I remember my first character, a Sin reaching Cavalon with a non max armor and some non max dmg daggers.

I remember finding the game insanely hard, and thinking after every mission " ok I will never have to do it again thank god"

I remember the first time I went to tyria, doing every single mission to reach Droknar (Didn't know "runs" existed).

I remember my first 15k armor: worked for weeks to get it, I was so proud !

...

And of course I remember how farming was before loot scaling

i remember when the game sucked, because it was only prophecies.
There was no PvP characters you had to start as PvE

And Prophecies SUCKS ass.

I remember going "Ele cool" 1 hour later "WTF stupid shit"
Did the same thing with a warrior
Picked up a ranger"Seems lame" 1 hour later "Hell yes"

Remember being stuck at Yaks bend and going in a circle through out the shiver peaks only to wind back at Yaks bend >.<

Remember hearing Factions coming out and saying "Couldn't be any worse than this crap"

Remember creating my assassin and finally beating propashit.

I remember when my beautiful warrior stances used to help me kill trolls.

I remember when farming was a fantasy not a chore

I remember when running was an absoulutely charitable thing to do

I remember when Loot scaling was a myth

Why cant we just simply revert back to when gw's was Actually good?!

I remember when people who didn't like the game just quit and didn't post nasty comments on Guru about the game. You should have quit when it was just Prophecies.

I remember not knowing what to do next.

I remember fearing the Charr.

I remember when THK was a noob filter.

You can't enter UW if you are not ascended. Only way to get ascended is to beat the Doppleganger. If you beat him while you are under level 20, you go to level 20 after defeating him. So lvl 12 in UW = epic lies.
Unless things were somehow diffrent back then?

I remember when.....

...the monks had a strike because they wasn't appreciated;

...people played for fun and not for profit;

...monks joined UW parties, left or got the party killed, switched to their 55 gear to go solo farm the smites;

...THK was where many got stuck;

...I first started and didn't realise you left towns via the big glowing portal. Spent some time bashing against and emoting big closed gates trying to open them.

OMG thats so great apart from i was level 20 and knew where i was going. didn't expect it be so hard though (afterall all lvl 29s = uber leet). Never set foot in there again

And btw i think you can be lvl 12. When u kill dopple, is the experience just for a bonus?

"Your Math teacher always seemed to hold Halls" Omg i remember them aswell. Most likely because i live in england and hate when people say math not maths. People talking about Rotscale...well i still havent got around to actalyl meeting this fella despite my 2 and a half years of game play.

Vigor runes gave different amount of hp. i think it was 25, 50, 75...could be wrong

The only reason I disliked Prophecies was because 95% of the people where newbies and 5% were pros who:
1. Sold Golds for extremely high prices.
2. Had million of Platinum and they didn't share it.
3. You had to try a mission 50 items before finally winning it.
4. I killed myself so my undead army would wipe out the noobs in my team...fun times indeed.

Personally I like Guild Wars now:
1. Everyone can get a nice good looking weapon skin cheap.
2. The tutorial areas actually work so 50% of the noobs who go through it know some about the game.
3. Noobs are fewer and far apart.
4. There are more people who help others.
5. Cooler armor.
6. Cooler skins.
7. Fun new quest, cooler scenery.

Hate:
Whining bitchy spoiled brats who start threads about "Remembering how it was"

Remembering other times is fine...using it to say this game is bad now isn't.

I remember when I farmed griffons in Prophet's Path.
And then 15^50 golds were actually rare.
